Good article. I agree thatair duct cleaning is just one of the many things you can do to your home to help relieve allergies. It also helps with your indoor air quality as well.

I agree with you about air duct cleaning being important for people that have allergies. We have had many doctors not releasing patients from the hospital until the air ducts were thoroughly cleaned by us with our power vac truck air duct cleaning process. The patients had severe allergies and asthma and the doctor wanted to make sure the indoor living environment was clean enough.

What type of air duct cleaning system do you use? You should be able to charge more than $99 for an air duct cleaning. Our base price starts out at $29, but we use a big power vacuum truck with a 2 man crew at every house we clean.

Good article on air duct cleaning. We choose to use a big vacuum truck because of the better vacuum air flow at 16,000 CFM. We mechanically brush each vent line, use high compressed air after brushing all while the air duct system is under vacuum. I also made a video on our air duct cleaning process at Advanced Power Vac our website.
